EXACTLY what I expected. Angelo is at rock bottom. They lost way too many players over the past few years to the portal.

No RB's left, no outstanding QBs.

They are good agsinst rthe run, but zero secondary.

It will be a long season. And probably a few years of rebuilding to get back to the dominant LSC team they were.

Defense was OK but was asked to do it all.

Angelo fans should be really concerned going into next week-Emporia’s supposed to be at least as good as Hays according to the preseason polls.
No concerns this year. Angelo's team was dismantled by portal. And coaching was unable to replace si many top talents.

Angelo fans just need to accept it's a rebuild situation. Keep low expectations and enjoy any wins they may get. That's life.

I'm not sure why an FCA team would fill their schedule with an NAIA opponent that's only been playing FB for a couple of years.
Yep, they’d probably get more experience (and $$) if they played punching bag for a top SEC or XII school, but guessing SFA wanted the win more than anything, especially if North American is a countable opponent.

PB leads WNM 14-3 at the half. PB scored 14 points with 20 minutes of possession and 3 drives of 12 plays each and one drive of 19 plays. A lot like WT the other night.

WT used to schedule crap teams to make Nesbitt and Hughes look better, thankfully Lynn declined that opportunity.

41-3 the final. Falcons didn’t turn it to 11 outside of a few drives in the second half, but they weren’t threatened at all and dominated from the opening kickoff.

                  On to next week.
