CWU adding 2 more defensive linemen:

Yelm HS's Chris Hauss had 11 other offers including a PWO from Texas State and Idaho. CWU also adds Skyview's Hezachariah Tua. That makes 9 linebackers and defensive linemen committed to CWU so far. Central is up to 24 commits so far, and not done yet.

Cedarcrest OLB Reid Fiala, KingCo Lake Division Defensive POTY and held 14 other offers from WOU and D3/NAIA programs

CWU now has at least 5 committed offensive lineman (likely more I don't know of) and 7 linebackers/edges/defensive linemen. So they know where to stock up the talent!

Lincoln (Oregon) IOL Brady Holland and Yelm punter Jameson Patin, who averaged 42.2 yds/punt last season in his lone season as a punter. The latter is the #1 ranked 2025 punter in the state and 67 in the nation. CWU graduated their previous punter so we will see if this kid takes the job next season.

Also, Western Oregon just got a QB in Bothell's Jaylen Viars. 6'4" 190 dual threat. He transferred to Bothell to be a 2 year starter and had several over NAIA/D3 offers. Bothell is known to dish out some good QBs in the past!

CWU gets commit from Gonzaga Prep tight end Wentworth Scribner. Missed half his senior season injured.

CWU added another commit from Oregon 6A champs West Linn HS in linebacker Will Ingle, who was named All-State 1st Team. He joins teammates Hudson Hardy in Central's recruiting class.

Also commits from Cascade HS ATH (I think will play WR) Andi Cosme and Bellevue HS DL Johnny O'Connor

West Linn HS OLB/DE Hudson Hardy commits to CWU after taking his official visit! Hardy helped lead West Linn to an Oregon 6A State championship and was named an All-State selection (overall 3rd Team, 6A 1st Team). He is now the 2nd recruit from Oregon to pledge to CWU over an offer from Western Oregon.

Also, he did all of that in a major comeback season after getting injured into his junior year. You can read about that in the links below

Another star 2-way player commits to CWU in S/RB Bridger Feldmann from Chiawana HS. Last season he racked up 2239 AP yards (1695 rushing) with 27 TD and also had 55 tackles, 6 INTs, including 3 pick-6's. He was named the SB Live State 2-way POTY and All-State by the News Tribune. And it just so happens last season he picked off a pass for a 96 yard touchdown. The quarterback: New college teammate Kolton Matson!

I already made another topic to share this news, but I feel obligated to post it here too. 3-star #1 ranked 2025 QB in WA and #114 in nation Kolton Matson from Lake Stevens HS committed to CWU over an offer from Western Oregon. 2 time 4A state champion, 2023 State POTY by Gatorade and SB Live, WFCA 4A State POTY, Everett Herald POTY, etc etc etc. And was also named All-State in 2024 season though his production dipped slightly. Shocking he had no D1 offers.
