But the only way CWU ever competes in the Big Sky is when Montana, Montana State, UC Davis and Sac State leave, which would then make the Big Sky a glorified D2 conference.
Similar to the Southland and WAC, but not sure about the glorified part.

So much for all these schools falling on their face leaving D2.
WT could do the same thing but President isnt into sports. WT Coach started the wrong QB for the season this year so now the kid is in the transfer portal. Darn Shame

The TX LSC schools can do better on a national level than in D2. As long as the school can financially support the move up. Being FCS you can get good money games and you can get much better transfers which is what it's all bout these days

Anyone catch a shot of the stadium today at Tarleton? There probably weren't even a thousand people in the place. I fully expect them to report 20,000 as the official attendance.

I've mentioned before that Tarleton is way fudging their numbers in a variety of ways - enrollment, attendance, growth, etc., but the playoff attendance number of 3,583 really exposes it: In NCAA playoffs, you have to report actual attendance to the NCAA - not some funny number for P.R. purposes.

Tarleton's supposed average this year has been 19,147. So how is it that your attendance shrinks by 81 percent for a playoff game on a beautiful fall day in Stephenville? Talked about busted. I'm guessing their attendance has been around the 3500 number for most of the season.

Meeting in the middle and defending Tarleton a small bit. Most small schools are going to have low attendance numbers the Saturday after Thanksgiving as a large number of students will be off campus at home back with family. Also in the past (not sure if its the same way now) students had to purchase tickets at NCAA playoff value meaning that no student discounts and/or businesses buying up large portions of tickets to "give away" or at discounts.

FYI - Sam Houston State coach Keeler is heading to Temple. He’s originally from the Allentown, PA area:

Good for him and glad he is getting the opportunity.

I am also reading former WT QB Ben Arbuckle is the leading candidate to become the Oklahoma Sooners new Offensive Coordinator.
