The amount of money one spends at the bars is unreal. But you tell them that we will increase your student fees by $1 per credit hour ($12-$15 per semester), they all freak out.

College students aren't typically cheap, they're poor. One surely can't be that disconnected from reality.

It's been awhile since I've read up on this proposal. They want to open the facility up to the community while not asking for tax dollars? I hope they have a good charge back model for rentals and usage, because, as a student, I wouldn't support the funding.
That being said, the facility is definitely wanted and I hope it happens. It's a good look for MSU.

To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must achieve a 3.20 GPA or higher. Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
New this year, the NSIC will highlight the all-academic team members with a 3.60 or higher GPA on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

I was hoping Mankato was going to play Mines because I thought Mankato would overwhelm them physically, but it looks like it will be a rematch from last year against CSU-pueblo. Pueblos defense looks very tough, offense hasnt quite got it going so far.
