Can someone explain how BSU, MSU, and WSC are co-champs, but WSU and Mankato share the South while WSC finished 3rd in the South?

There are no tie-breakers. So those three schools having all finished at 9-2 share the overall championship.

Within the division, Mankato and Winona both went 5-1, Wayne went 4-2.

Bemidji, Mankato, and Wayne State all finished 9-2 overall.

Wayne State was 4-2 in South Division play. MSU and WSU were both 5-1 in South Division.

Then why split up divisions. I’d say just give it to the 3 that tied. More trophies for everyone

Mustangs finished 9th with 4 wins. not bad when most said 1-2 wins and 13th or 14th place
