I know it's way too early, but with the new NPI the CCHA has 3 teams comfortably in the top 16 as of now. Again it's way too early....

D3 athletics is misunderstood. Schools at that level aren't allowed to offer scholarships for athletic or leadership abilities- and certainly not any...

I didn't get that feeling from the video. The impression I walked away with is that there is just no support for football at UMC....

I don't think there was any hope of saving it regardless. D3 or NAIA would still require some level of fund raising that just isn't there....

That was interesting. I think they made the right decision discontinuing the football program. It's the only way they can stay in D2.
