Will there be NSIC players of the week, after the last game? Anyone know how many all NSIC teams there will be, 1st and 2nd team plus HM?

Yes, there will be POTW announced today.

For postseason honors, last year the NSIC awarded:

    - Offensive POTY
    - Defensive POTY
    - Offensive Newcomer of the Year
    - Defensive Newcomer of the Year
    - Assistant Coach of the Year
    - Coach of the Year

They then awarded first and second all-division teams (North and South). Obviously, no divisions this year, so no idea what they will do

yes, will be interesting the number for players on the All NSIC team without division, the GLIAC and d3 Wisconsin IAC ( Whitewater, LaCrosse etc) both have 8 teams, they choose 13-16 players on 1st team O and D, then also have 13-16 players on 2nd team O and D, plus HM. I hope they do something like that as there are so many stellar players on 14 teams. UMD players that I thin think are deserving of being named are Arik Johnson OL, Treyvon Cahalan OL, Drew Hennessey LB, Mac Strand LB Sam Pitz TE, Marcus Glodowski DB, Nathan Bursch DT, DaShaun Ames return specialist and Kyle Walljasper QB or RB. UMD was number 1 in total D in the conference so that should carry some weight on defense and the number 1 scoring team on offense and the top rushing team. we shall see this week.

Like the UMD list although Walljasper will likely be overlooked and Ames may be a stretch. Klopp (LB) also had a great year as did Pokornowski (DB). They are really going to miss those two safeties next year.
