Vikings picked up an excellent commit out of WI, Zeke Strand, brother of MSUM QB Jack Strand. He turned down a PWO from the Badgers and held offers from top NSIC schools. Welcome to AU Zeke.

Pretty proud how my guy has been playing! Hopefully he keeps it up and gets better each week! Looking forward to seeing you soon Big Will!

Super Excited for the upcoming year. It looks like the team will gel, and we can get underway with limited injury. Some of the injured will even be back sooner rather than later. Ready for kickoff!!!

I went to the scrimmage this weekend and really wasn't too surprised by what I saw. The OL is set but one of the starters was in a boot so maybe it's not really set for week 1 and there is an answer on who is starting at RT. Freshman OL from Missouri got a lot of reps at both guard positions and the freshman RB from Arizona looked fast but tiny. Thought the top 3 quarterbacks played well. Scholten and Hensley rotated reps with the first and second team. Receivers seem deep. Bauer sat out but I was impressed with some of the younger guys they rotated in. On defense I really like our DE. Davis sat out but I really like Sherman and Birn. I have a tough time judging DB's. I don't think there is a true shut down corner in the group but there are a couple of good safeties on the team.

Couple more weeks until game time and a lot of time to improve! Fight on Vikings!!

Jeff is an excellent and knowledgeable announcer with a self deprecating humor. Pray that his health issue is in the rear view mirror soon. Will miss him in 2024.
