That's BS leaving starters in playing late in 4th qtr. against a D2 team.

DSU turned on the jets. 34-3. Fun game, atmosphere, and crowd. 5:09 yet but I think both sides are about done.

Again, it doesn't bother me as the team on the losing side, I just think it's an unnecessary risk for them to do it, but seems like they came out healthy so nothing hurt by it.

I surfed around the free games and Wayne looks good on both. Nice to have Nick Bohn at the helm.

BSU looked rusty on offense, although they got the job done. Their defense was stout.

Little USF beating the big rich D1 school St. Thomas 20-13. Love it! UST down 18-15 went for 2, then fumble ball and USF picks up ball and runs it back for for a 2 pointer.

                    • Coo lead 20-13 heading into the 4th. Knocking on the door for another score inside the Tommie 10.

Dean has been a baller even with a sloppy fumble and interception that led to UST’s only scores of the night so far. Some really impressive throws and the run game has been consistent as needed.

Not sure if it’s a UST problem or that the improvement is that significant, but the Cougar defense has been absolutely smothering. 99 yards of total offense for the Tommies.

It’s also begun pouring in St. Paul.

O-line absolutely in control. As Marv once said in Home Alone 2…

                        • Tommie fumble deep in their own zone but USF can’t punch it in and the FG attempt is blocked.

Probably some of both, but so far I am more than pleased with the improvement the USF defense is showing since last season.

                            • I'm probably going to jinx it by saying this but I hope we all remember this game when the Pioneer League gets gushed over.

Polish them off Coo. I'm going to bed. It was an exhausting evening of football, but the Mavs, Buffs, and Trojans made my night.

A snoozer in St. Paul but things in MPLS sure are getting interesting.
