Just because some of us are excited/interested in Minot's 3-0 start doesn't mean we're automatically crowning them NSIC champs. In fact there's a good chance they don't win another game all season.

Nervous optimism for tomorrow's BSU-USF game at the Bob. Forecast has changed from the beginning of the week to what looks a nice day. 79 and sunnny. Gonna be windy it appears, even by the Bob standards. Hope this bodes well for the defense to slow the Beaver pass game somewhat. I feel like USF can get some scores, but if they're gonna really turn the corner, the D is going to have to step up against the better teams in the conference.

I also find MInot's start intriguing...wish it was CSP with the 3-0 start.

While I think Mankato runs away with it, we should see what this Minot team is truly capable of this week.

Having seen this team play once in-person already this season, I do know that they aren't the same Minot we've grown painfully accustomed too.

Last season the Minot Beavers lost 25-52 to the Mavs. Scoring 25pts. against Kato was impressive for a team breaking in a new triple option offense. Mavs didn't surrender 25pts or more often last season, although twice to Augustana I feel compelled to type.

May I interest you in an 0-3 start instead? ;)

Like most games, it depends on turnovers. Minot is pretty high on the plus/minus list so far. If the Mavs win the turnover battle they should win the war.

What games are you most uncertain about? Me

                  CSP at SMSU
                  WSC at WSU
                  BSU at USF

These games could go either way.

Mankato gets a quick TD, botches the PAT and Minot almost took it home.

                      Minot is driving hard though

Dragons up 7-0 with about 6 left in the first quarter. McKendree has switched QBs a couple times. Haven't watched their games so not sure but it looks like they have a two QB system. I remember Northwestern doing something like that at one point with Trevor Siemian and Kain Colter.

Does the GLVC charge $$$ for games?

First half has turned into an absolute disaster for the Dragons. They go into halftime down 7-22. McKendree has taken advantage of two brutal turnovers.

Minot is showing flashes but the Mavs are in control of this one. 26-6 late 3
