Congrats to Northern State. When my team Winona went ahead 21-17, I thought it was over. After losing the momentum, they drove down the field and got 2 more touchdowns. Winona just can't put it all together in a game. They show flashes of a good team, then something falls apart. Northern has a nice campus, town and an amazing stadium. They have alot going for it and should be a good spot to build a winner.

Mavs are not without their challenges though. Another two failed extra point tries yesterday.

1.18 yards per play yesterday. Ouch. The couple times I switched on their games they look small and slow.

Plenty to tighten up. Hopefully they can get special teams figured out before it’s too late. That part of the game has been a struggle all season. Special teams mistakes allowed NW Missouri back into the game, gave Wayne an easy TD and cost points elsewhere as well.

This sounds like a great idea for a Saturday Night Live skit.
