105 fbs roster ??

I have been hearing a lot about the FBS roster limitation going into the next year. I’m just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on the trickle down effect pass FCS into D2 football. I would assume that maybe the level of football may go up a little bit. Which as a D2 football fan as everybody else is on this board, I would think that would be a very good thing

I believe I read that the 85 scholarship limit goes away as well. So, while potentially having smaller rosters overall, they can have more guys on scholarship. If that’s true, then I don’t know how to predict the ramifications for FCS or D2

I thought I read that too. All 105 players will be on scholarship. The thing is a lot of FBS teams have close to 150 players on their rosters now where do those 45 players go. I think a number of them will trickle down. Is there no cap on FCS teams? Is it still the 63 scholarships split however they want?
