Looks like Marche still a bit dinged up and McDondle must've not felt right after one early carry as it's all he has gotten.

Edwards a bit off with his deep ball today.

50 yard FG good for Pueblo.

          20-7

TD Mesa after Darius Williams gets beat deep again for a long play. Mesa runs it in 2 plays later.

              22-14 Pueblo

No Darius Williams on the field for Pueblo the last couple of drives, don't believe he is injured. Not an issue as the defense comes up with a pick on the Mesa 20.

Payer again rips the ball away from the Mesa RB and recovers the fumble. Pueblo ball on their own 30 with 5 minutes to play.

Austin Micci finally finds space to run and gets to the 6, Lindsay punches it in 2 plays later.

36-14 Pueblo but a rather disappointing performance from them overall. Schedule the rest of the way is extremely favorable for them besides the SOS hit they'll take.

Hats off to a young Mesa team without their starting QB. Great performance and a clean but physical game by both teams.

Much better defensive performance from Mesa than I expected, so that is a good sign. Hopefully, they keep up that physicality the rest of the season. But Pueblo's D-line simply looked like USC's did against Colorado last night :at-wits-end:. I thought Mesa QB Ruel did pretty good considering the crazy pressure he had. Nice job by CSUP overall.

Mesa had 4 or 5 turnovers, so you will not win games doing that. But despite all of this, Mesa's fortune turned on an incredibly stupid personal foul in the third quarter, after they had scored and as they were moving again with the momentum shift. So, so stupid. After that, Pueblo dominated.

Good news is that this should now mean 2 teams into the playoffs for the RMAC. Unless the region falls apart, T-Wolves will finish 5 or 6 and be on the road. I think if Mines wins out, they end up #2 in the region. In that scenario, I'm guessing they make CSUP #6, with a potential second game against Mankato and not Mines. We shall see.

Actually, this is probably how the region looks at the end, assuming not much else changes:

                            1. Minnesota
                            2. Mines
                            3. Duluth
                            4. Tarleton
                            5. CSUP
                            6. Midwestern

Makes for some interesting first round games, and sets up a potential second round Pueblo vs. Mines game.

Remember it's at 7 teams now with #1 earning a bye.
