No night games at Mesa this fall

A little surprised that there aren't going to be any night games in GJ. Looked up on the GJ Sentinel and nothing was published. Does anyone know why the Mavs are only kicking off at 1pm?

Mesa saving on the light bill!

Same with Chadron. First year since renovating Don Beebe Stadium, and the installation of light (about 5 years ago), no home night game for Chadron.

Maybe it's a message from both coaches that the team has to earn playing under the lights. IDK. Kinda bummed since GJ is the only RMAC town that I can see two games in the same day from Gunnison. Actually Alamosa is a possibility too when they play at night.
