Jackets hitting Mines with their best shot

Chadron's coaching is awful. Their offense moves the ball at will against Pueblo early on and they try to run a stupid trick play that leads to a pick. Momentum gone, Pueblo scores, game over. Pueblo tried something similar years ago against WT, they were dominating and try to have a RB (Micci) throw a cute little pass that got picked. WT went on to control the game from there. Why do coaches think they need to run these plays when their normal offense is getting the job done?

Cherry on top is kicking a FG while down 28-0 with 4 minutes left. I guess avoiding being shutout is the new goal?

Agreed. The coaching it beyond awful. And, yes, kicking a FG was to avoid a shutout. That's how low the Chadron program has dropped.

Pueblo dominated from start to finish! Chadron must’ve had the +26

Beyond some bad decisions when pressured the Chadron QB/ offense looked pretty decent. Hopefully a young roster that they can build on.

Black Hills came to play. Their QB the made huge plays scrambling. I expect to see more runs from QBs going forward against mines

A few of them weren’t even scrambles. Just called draws. They are going to have to work on that.

True they ran the rb sprint out and the qb got some good yards. Their big pass plays came off almost sacks that the qb escaped on

An even more boring week this week. Last week's closest game was a 15 point spread. This week is 25.

And this weeks closest game, with a 25 point differential had the losing team score 3... Feels different if it were at least 52-27 or something.

I have to point out that my Jackets were in a 4 point game at the end of the third and we up by 3 at half. The final may have been a larger spread, but they gave Mines one of the better fights they've seen this year.
