Obviously there has been a lot of backlash. Especially among the female athletic programs and faculty on campus. I don't agree with the decision to bring him in, but I don't get paid to make the decisions.
I am also very concerned about the lackadaisical approach ENMU seems to be taking to recruiting. Its not like we had a bunch of great players, but we got gutted in the portal and have a lot of catching up to do. -
I wouldn’t worry about it. Art Briles could build you a one- year roster in a matter of days with a few phone calls to the right people in his network. Of course none of them will graduate or be there for more than one season but athletically they’ll be as good or better than the ones you had that hit the portal.
