Mavs get two transfers- both originally from Iowa, both named Olivia. They will have to come up and visit the Renville County Seat- which is Olivia.

I was there today. Great atmosphere- cheerleaders, the band, nice crowd. Lakers dominated and led 4-0 before the Mavs got two quick goals and the place really got loud. Alas, it was not to be- Mavs great season is over.

Mavs lose today 5-2. Great season for MSU. Definitely will miss the seniors; however a lot of fine talent returning next season. Congratulations to the team on winning the NSIC tournament championship again this season; also making the Elite 8.

Grand Valley looked like a juggernaut in their 9-0 win over Indianapolis. Will play Mavs in a rematch on Sunday.

Games have been moved inside the bubble. Grand Valley v Indianapolis at 3, MSU v Central Mizzou at 6. Great way to initiate the new structure!

Just be glad it isn't being played Tuesday or Wednesday! At least my backyard ice rink should finally freeze solid.

Sounds like a high of 26, but now I just read 19 with winds of 8 mph. That would be darn cold. 36 for Saturday.

Congratulations to the Mavs on making the final 16. Apparently they play the winner of Grand Valley vs. Indianapolis, at MSU first week of December.
GV & Indy play at 10 on the 6th. MSU plays Central Missouri at 1:00 on the 6th. The winner of that game would play GV or Indy on Sunday the 8th.

If the weather is bad, they do have some options. The Bubble should be working by then, Bethany has a brand new turf field this year, and the Gustavus FB field is also turf.

I was at the game. Nil-nil at half. Abby Vetter, who is worth the price of admission herself, streaked down the field to get the only goal. Augie had a goal waved off with about four minutes or so to go. I never heard an explanation. Concordia lost 2-0 to Central Mizzou who will be coming to Kato Friday Dec 6th at 1 PM. Not sure why the layoff.
