A Freshman Guard starting on a perennial Top 10, D2 team goes to Tallahassee CC his sophomore year!!! I guess it's believable in some regards, but where are you gonna end up! Bad decision...

He's going to have a lot of experienced "traffic" to negotiate his way through to get into the starting line-up.

He played against very high level competition such as Huntington Prep, Oak Hill Academy, etc.

    Totally unverifiend internet data follows:
    FT % somewhere between 88% and 93%
    46% 3 pt shooting
    36 inch vertical

Really smart guy. I could see him or Hazelbaker next on the Academic All American list after Bolon. Right now, we have had at least one academic All American for each of the last 7 years.

Too bad really because he was a gritty "do everything" type of player who had actually worked his way into the starting line-up in the playoffs in 2018. Had he worked out his shooting flaws and become a consistent, even if not spectacular, shooter, he probably could have earned significant minutes. He didn't and is now going to play at Thomas More.

Can't help but think there is a little heard headedness in it. Clearly Ben and Saben's former teammates know how to coach and shoot jumpers and the importance of arc, etc. on the ability to shoot. I would Saben was coached on the need to correct his shooting flaws. Fact that he hasn't made any changes says to me that he is a bit stubborn and believes he knows better.

That's a good question. Don't seem to be a lot of takers for him.
