I would assume it's legit. At the same time, it doesn't necessarily mean he's on scholarship. I don't see any, "Blessed to receive an offer from..." tweets about Augie from his timeline. And he's a local kid. That being said, whether he's on scholarship or not, I would assume he wouldn't be announcing a commitment to Augie if the coaching staff didn't want him on the team. Welcome Hayden!

There are more teams coming to Municipal on Nov. 12th & 13th as more schedules are released. Missouri Southern is playing Upper Iowa on Friday and Southern Nazarene on Sat. Should be an awesome two days of basketball. At least 8 schools will be there. Not sure how many more.

Looks like NW will take on Souix Falls on Sat. Nov. 13 and Arkansas Monticello on Sunday, Nov. 14.

Some really cool match-ups are developing for this season (2021-22). There will be a Central Region Challenge at Historic Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City on the weekend of Nov. 12th & 13th. On the 12th, Washburn will battle Northern State at 12:45pm and later that afternoon Southern Arkansas will go up against Augustana. On Sat, Washburn will take on Augustana at 6pm followed by Northern St. vs Southern Arkansas in the night cap. Should be some great basketball. Probably the first regular season game for some of these teams but Northern State will be tipping off on Nov. 5th & 6th against NWMS and Rockhurst. Looks like it is the opener for Washburn and Southern Arkansas. Not sure about Augustana as their schedule has not been released yet.

If happiness matters, I'm surprised he picked USF. :)

It is what it is. At this point, I'm not surprised when any kid ends up anywhere. He'll be good for them if he's actually healthy.

I do hope we beat USF by 40 this year, though.
