I figured it was only a matter of time before MO Southern passed us.

Reminder, this only includes games through Sunday. NSIC Semifinals and Championship not included. So Northern will have a 28-3 record in the region, SMSU 23-8, SCSU 21-7, Mankato 19-9.

I like this ranking only slightly better than NSU4LIFE's predictions. N'western Oklahoma, UCO and WU have plenty to play for. That 8 spot is still open, IMO.

Plus they could get bumped if an underdog wins the MIAA or GAC tournament.

First round matchups:
#1 Northwest Missouri (MIAA) vs. #8 Minnesota State (NSIC)
#4 Southern Nazarene (GAC) vs. #5 SMSU (NSIC)
#2 Northern State (NSIC) vs. #7 NW Oklahoma (GAC)
#3 Missouri Southern (MIAA) vs. #6 St. Cloud State (NSIC)

If seeds held true, the second round is MIAA vs GAC and NSIC vs MIAA.

I would honestly feel pretty good about that. I'd be more nervous about playing Missouri Southern than I would Southern Nazarene. And I'd take a potential rematch against Northwest when that game last year when down to the final shot.

Don't see it. SMSU will smoke S. Nazarene. They have Bruggeman, Kirk and Moen.
