Nice try with the edit. Too bad I copied it first so your left out word lives on in infamy. :)

Laker: You may be on to something. It was just a 10-point loss...at home...to the #8 team from the north...from the division of the conference that doesn't do as well as those from the south...(congrats BSU, by the way). I think I have "cabin fever". Actually, I feel a lot like Clueless Morgan, one of the upstanding characters from the infamous movie Muppet Treasure Island. As said of him..."Clueless has gone crackers!"

I don't want to say this too loud, but are we (the NSIC) really going to get 4 spots in the regional tournament this year?

        Re: Regional Rankings (3/6)

If Southeastern Oklahoma wins a couple in the GAC tournament, getting to 20 wins, without winning the tournament, would they bounce Mankato? Or is the strength of schedule that bad? The Fort Hays omission surprises me... Not even the top 10? Without winning the MIAA tournament, they'd probably need Northwest to beat Emporia, win against Lincoln and knock off Northwest on Saturday to have a shot.

I think that USF would be more deserving this season than MSU if they did. But I don't think that the NSIC deserves four spots this year.

:) Ha-ha. That would be interesting:)

When I think of Clueless, I always think of Alicia Silverstone. :)

I'm sure they have been and are in the library studying:).

Even with today's release, I see maybe a 0.01% chance the NSIC gets four teams in. It's either SE Oklahoma or a team that played its way into the tournament from the MIAA or GAC.

I tend to agree with this.....I'm not even completely sold that Wayne is safe to make the field.

The 20-6 Savage Storm of Southeastern Oklahoma State play 16-12 Arkansas-Monticello tomorrow at 2:15. So people who are getting excited about MSU's chances can pay attention to that.

If that's how it breaks down, it would make more sense to flip Wayne and Southern. That eliminates conference matchups. If you flip SEO and Wayne you still have Southern and Washburn matched up.
