Per the refs through D'Eustachio, Walthall lost the tech because he convinced the refs he was talking to his players not the refs

Who would've guessed that Walthall's (somehow successful) defense was that he was yelling at his player, not the ref? Then again, if what he was yelling at his player was offensive enough to warrant a technical from a ref, maybe Walthall should clean up his language to his players.
