Since I'm sure some of you guys up north might be curious as to what's happening in the MIAA and the GAC tonight in terms of who might be regional watching, here are a few of the "important" scores to pass along.
Women
MIAA
Central Oklahoma 78
Pittsburg State 74
- With the win, UCO moves into a tie for first place in the MIAA at 9-1 and 18-1 overall (17-1 D2). Don't look now, but could we possibly see UCO host the women's regional? Meanwhile, PSU drops to 9-2 in conference play and 17-3 overall (16-3 D2)
Lincoln 68
Fort Hays State 81
- FHSU trying to keep their chances of making the regional alive. FHSU improves to 6-4 in MIAA play, 15-4 overall, and 10-4 in D2.
GAC
Harding 79
Southwestern Oklahoma 80
- Harding dropped their first conference game of the season, falling to 11-1 in GAC play, 14-3 overall, and 13-3 in D2.
Arkansas Tech 77
Northwestern Oklahoma 57
- With a win and a HU loss, ATU now climbs to a game out of first place. Tech improves to 10-2 in GAC play, 14-2 overall, and 14-2 in D2.
I'll update the men when those games are over.
