Unlikely, but I didn't think they'd win the conference last year either so, who knows.

Recent history of nsic is that the top teams are very competitive in national tourney. No guarantees as last year demonstrated. Central region is also probably as competitive as any in country.

Duluth will definitely be interesting. Would be very impressive for Wieck to come in and win the conference in year 2 of his tenure. As a non-Duluth fan, it's really a shame Myer still has another year.

I am more optimistic about Augie's chances than most would expect from the Apostle of Apprehension. If everyone manages to stay healthy this season (which obviously wasn't the case at all last year), I feel pretty good about the Vikings finishing top 2-3. But if we lose a couple of people to injuries like we did last season, it will definitely be a bummer.

As I've said in the past. Everyone knows their own team better than the others. After seeing first hand what kind of team it took to get to that runner-up I don't see it with the Wolves. But anything can happen. Saul may bring in a stud along with an assistant or two, unless he chooses to go it alone. Tommy Chatmann, may very well still be a Wolf which would make my heart sing. I didnt do a deep dive into the other teams, if I had the time I would certainly love to be the Witt of the hoops side. Just going off of memory, madd my best educated guess.

Before you get too upset, I feel the top seven on my list will have a gap over the rest and 5-7, at the least, are interchangeable.
