I didnt do a deep dive into the other teams, if I had the time I would certainly love to be the Witt of the hoops side. Just going off of memory, madd my best educated guess.

Before you get too upset, I feel the top seven on my list will have a gap over the rest and 5-7, at the least, are interchangeable.

To quote my friend Stanger86 from one of last year's preseason threads:

SCSU in for a rough season. But when you have to replace 6 Sr.'s that's probably going to happen.
But I don't see them finishing 13th as someone predicted. Let's hope anyway.

It's going to be an interesting season. Kinda hard to prognosticate at this point, but here's my shot at it:

                    NORTH
                    Northern
                    Duluth
                    Moorhead
                    Bemidji
                    Crookston
                    St Cloud
                    Minot
                    UMary

                    SOUTH
                    Mankato
                    Augustana
                    Wayne
                    Winona
                    Concordia
                    Southwest
                    Sioux Falls
                    Upper Iowa

I did some general sleuthing recently and heres where I stand:

                        1. Augustana
                        2. Mankato
                        3. Duluth
                        4. Northern
                        5. Moorhead
                        6. Winona
                        7. Wayne
                        8. Crookston
                        9. Upper Iowa
                        10. St Cloud
                        11. Bemidji
                        12. SMSU
                        13. USF
                        14. Mary
                        15. Minot
                        16. Concordia

I think the conference title will come down to Augie, Kato, and UMD. I'll take Augie's overall depth compared to Kato's lack of it and UMD's giant question mark in the back court. Obviously this is a contingent on Matt Todd/Isaac Fink/Texas Tom being able to fill the offensive gap left by AJ's visit to varmint town. But a foundation of Bryan/Cartwright/LeBrun/Schaefer/Hanson/Riemersma/Dykman is a helluva place to be coming from.

I'll probably pay more attention to Duluth then ever before.... Looking at all of your predictions, it would seem that they should have a pretty good team. I don't know what kind of depth they have and he may be a year or two away from significant minutes, but I'm interested to see what kind of player Drew Blair turns out to be. There were high hopes when we successfully recruited him a couple years ago. Obviously the fit wasn't right for him or us, and both sides have moved on, but if he ends up being the scorer he was in high school, I'm sure at least internally, I'll be saying "dammit!"
