I've always thought people make too big a deal over the bus trips but that's not as rushed as this time crunch.
Well, then I guess its good for them that they play Northern first. SMH

I mean, I was wrong on the time frame because they played Nevada last night, but other than that what did I miss?

Don't get your point either. If bulldog's tails were not docked, they would have left the state of Nevada with them firmly tucked between their legs. Do not see the value in flying down there for a beatdown.

Normally these exhibition games are early and schools make some good $$ going down and playing, getting beat, and collect the check. Who knows on the timing of this one, but I'm guessing $$ were a motivating factor. I know UIU made got a good check at Creighton and for D2 that makes a difference in budgets!

Or in Augie's case, go down to Iowa, get paid, get a win, and crack the SportsCenter Top 10.

And then don't get another D1 exhibition game opportunity for the next 6+ years.

They broke the rule :) Give 'em a game, but know when to back-off, collect your check. I'm not sure if that is true or not, but I bet that does enter some teams minds. That was a great win btw!

We haven't played a D1 besides Minnesota or Nebraska (Miles) since 2013-14.

I remember Pat Reusse saying after Winona beat the Gophs that if you are going to pick up the check you have to agree to get beat.

The Augustana national championship was the sweetest memory. #2 was sinking a vaunted B1G team in front of over 12k of their loud fans who went silent at the buzzer.

Fran is the type of guy that could get me to pull for Augie for a couple hours...if that says anything, ha

Welp Augie hasn't won in Fayette since December of 2018 so tonight should be another wild ride.

Just announced on the radio no Riemersma tonight due to Influenza A. So that definitely sucks.

That's truly unfortunate, the only way this gets worse is if we go another year without a Shrimptastic commercial.

Vikings lack of experienced depth could hurt us tonight.

Broadcast scoreboard not working early, but SMSU up 24-13 on The Rifleman's team midway through first half
