Guessing Austin Meyer would be on Pitt's list too as well as Washburn's list.

no brainer if they can get him
he can have a job like that any day of the week though
just a matter of if he wants to coach right away or decompress for a spell

Local sports reporter just states that Anderson will be named the new Pitt basketball coach.

I know Pitt State won the MIAA tournament a couple of years ago, but they haven't exactly jumped out at me as far as the hardwood goes.

A top coach and top facilities can be a scary combination....

From what I've seen, they have a very nice facility (would compare to Wachs Arena) and now they're getting a very nice coach

As an alum of UCM I'm having a hard time accepting this although I'm seeing it reported on multiple sites. I know a job is a job but after Anderson and staff gave blood,swear, and tears to Mule Nation to go against them and family as sister is associate AD will be tough to see.

This has been a formality for awhile. Pitt State has a chance to be a really good situation in basketball with the upgrades in faciliities. They have a willingness to invest in the program if they believe in the coach. Kim wouldn't go there is Jim didn't assure him some things from an investment (assistant coaches, ect).

correct. cm was in the toilet when they hired him too. i think i remember beating them literally by 50 in the conf tourney either the last yr of his predecessor or his first yr on the job. & then of course they got better fast.
