I thought the Benedictine move was a really good one for the GLVC, as it was the first move to buck the trend of growing on the western side and shrinking on the eastern front (KWC, SJC, UWP). With the SBU move, the trend now continues uninterrupted.
I've heard that Lindenwood wants out of the MIAA. If so, that's probably a logical next invitee, and another team in St. Louis is closer to every team on the East side than Chicago is, except for Lewis and Indy (and it's only about 20-30 miles closer for Indy). So, Lewis is probably the only team that cares whether or not the next future member is in St Louis or Chicago.
