We had quite the final week of the year to wrap up our season!

#6 gr8ness97 - 121.10 + 184.05 = 305.15
#4 Mule Man - 127.45 + 146.30 = 273.75
The champ is crowned! Facing a mild deficit of only 6.35 points going in to the final week, gr8 leaned on his tried and true workhorses, the running backs. His three RB's combined for 111.8 points, and he had another RB with 31 points on the bench. From there, he got 35.6 points from WR Reggie Retzlaff, the highest WR score of the week, and nearly 30 points from QB Jett Huff, to pull off the victory and grab the championship, wrestling it away from Mule Man in a rematch of last year's championship series.
Mule Man had a chance to win this. He benched 55.4 points from QB Drew Nash in favor of 36.1 points from QB Donovyn Omolo, and he benched 18.7 points from WR Mante Morrow for 5.2 points from WR Hogan Wasson. His Central Missouri guys betrayed him! If he subbed in those two guys, he defends his title. Then again, gr8 also benched 48.85 points from his QB for 29.25 in the starting lineup.
In our other, loser action:

#2 Fro-th_and-goal - 148.95 + 137.80 = 286.75
#1 Wayne Cavadi - 110.10 + 99.00 = 209.10
Fro extended his lead in the third-place matchup and wraps up the win behind a pair of 45+ point performances from QB Kyle Walljasper and RB Kieran Falzon. His three WR's all scored less than 10 points, but it was more than enough. Wayne got 38.8 points from QB Jack Strand, but had three starters below 8 points, and couldn't complete the comeback.
#3 Matt Witwicki - 180.65 + 173.60 = 354.25
#5 KleShreen - 84.65 + 159.15 = 243.80
Matt absolutely roasted me, behind Hunter Patterson putting up the highest RB score of the week with 65 points, as well as high QB scorer of the week in RJ Martinez's 60 points. I didn't even have a shot. I staged my best comeback with RB Noah Dobert's 64.6 point performance, but got a DNP from a WR and 1.5 points from one of my RB's. He dominated me two straight weeks to win the fifth-place matchup.
#8 JavsFan - 103.45 + 119.75 = 223.20
#7 Runnin' Cat - 76.65 + 137.90 = 214.55
Our tightest two-week matchup of the playoff was for the seventh-place faceoff, as Javs fan holds on for dear life to claim the win. RC got a big 47.8 point performance from QB Kanon Gibson and 40.9 from RB Cameron Goods to win this week's matchup by about 18 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the 27 point win by Javs last week. Javs was saved by a 40.9 point game from QB Gavin Sukup.
That ends our year! And here is the final playoff bracket:

Some notes on gr8's win:
His 6th-seed entry in to the playoffs becomes the second-lowest seed to win the playoff title, trailing only mountaineermagic in 2019, who came in as the 7th-seed. However, both players entered with a 3-5-0 regular season record, which is a tie for the worst record to win the championship.
This is gr8's third playoff championship, as he also won in 2018 and 2013. His three playoff championships ties Mule Man for the second-most in league history, trailing only myself with four.
Mule Man, meanwhile, continues his stretch of league dominance, overall. This was the 16th season of this league, and Mule Man has appeared in the championship final nine times out of those 16 seasons. The next most championship appearances is from myself and gr8. We've each appeared in the title match five times.
