At some point it may or may not benefit a team we root for but it is the only way to take the subjectivity out of it. This makes for a level playing field when it comes to scheduling and wins and losses.

There is no bidding for games. The higher seed hosts all games until the Finals in McKinney.

Actually there is. That's what crashandannie was saying. Last year #6 West Florida went to #7 West Georgia in the second round because West Florida didn't submit a bid package to host.

My take is that once the major criteria are applied and there is still no quantifiable difference between two teams, the minor criteria are used, but the problem as some have alluded to is there is no pecking order (as best we can tell) in terms of which minor criterion is most important.

For seedings in Semi, I think from geography standpoint, Mankato would host Ferris, and VSU would host Notre Dame , Ohio!??

NDC Should be #4 seed but with MEC commish on the committee anything weird could happen and probably will.
Should be NDC @ MSUM and VSU @ FSU IMO based on national rankings. What do the current SOS numbers show? IDK
