Best and Worst Logos

Brandon posted a great picture of all the team Avatars/logos, got me thinking who does everyone like and dislike. Here are my top 5 and bottom 5 (in no order)


BEST
TX A&M Commerce - Clean, Simple and Modern (Lion)
Winston-Salem - Cool and tough looking Ram
Ark-Monticello - Simple and unique
Angelo St.- shows everything (mascot colors and name) in 3 letters and a small logo tied together nicely
West Florida - I love the color scheme, the Argonaut is different and modern and they are pretty damn good at football

WORST
Livingstone - Blue Bear that has too much going on and just not good at all
Florida Tech - Black Panther looks like they had a elementary kid draw it
Frostburg - this is the worst, they must of spent a lot of time coming up with the the most generic font paired with an unoriginal paw print
Quincy - just a brown bird that is looking off in the distance, not intimidating & would look terrible on a helmet
Virginia St. - too much detail and i don't like the color fade, i know they put it on their helmet but it doesn't work. East Stroudsburg does it much better (Trojan)

just missed the top 5 cut
GOOD - Neb-Kearney, Lincoln, Grand Valley, Missouri S&T, Delta St, West Geo.
BAD - East Central, Findlay, Kingsville (new one), West Chester

i know some teams have different logos but im just going on what the picture shows.

My homer pick is MWSU's griffon in the shape of Missouri. I've always been a huge fan of Pitt State's split-face gorilla. St. Cloud State's logo is perfect old-school design. Augustana's Viking is pretty cool. I know it's too simple for some, but Emporia State's stinger E looks pretty great across a wide variety of uses.

Of course, like you I am a homer for the Winston-Salem State University logo. I fell in love with the Pitt State logo the first time I saw a photo of the stadium/field. The gorilla is very intimidating. And I have to agree with you on St. Cloud State. Obviously a nod to the hockey culture in that region.
