The regular season VSU/UWG game has a Peach Basket as the traveling trophy.

This year, the two institutions announced the Red Clay Rivalry which is an all-sports trophy with a point system.

Since 1948, Bemidji State and Minnesota State-Moorhead have competed for the Battle Axe, the second longest traveling trophy in D-II. This writeup is from 2012:

Since Hillsdale left the NAIA and became an NCAA D2 school in the GLIAC during the early 1990s, the Chargers and the Wayne State Warriors (formally the Tartars) had established a strong rivalry. Big city university vs small town college. The two teams often split wins from year-to-year. Lately, since Hillsdale is now a GMAC school and WSU a GLIAC school, the two teams have not played each other in a few years. However, they might, perhaps, try to schedule a game in the not-to-far-off future. In the GMAC, Tiffin and Findlay don't much like each other, Hillsdale and Ohio Dominican have found ways to ruin seasons for each other, and Ashland vs Hillsdale has always had a rivalry like feel to the games. Hillsdale and Indianapolis have played epic games, including one a few years ago that featured four overtimes with Hillsdale winning. That tilt made ESPN.

There's a handful in the NSIC - none of them run really deep though. Conference alignments and such.

My favorites are:

-Mankato vs. Duluth
-Mankato vs. Sioux Falls
-Mankato vs. Winona State

and previously before the discontinuation of the program, Mankato vs. St. Cloud (as showcased above).

My favorite D2 rivalry is SD Tech/Black Hills. I'm planning to go see it next season.
