Good god. Will the NCAA just end this awfulness of SR1 and move the GLIAC back to SR1? Everyone is begging you. SR1 continues to be awful and overrated.

It's crazy watching Shepherd face an actual good team. It makes me wonder how absolutely godawful the football is in the entire region if this Shepherd team threw all over the field on all of them.

So far, they're entirely overmatched. The Mines d-line is crushing the Shepherd o-line, Bagent can't throw in to any tight windows.

There's a real competitive balance issue in the regions. SR3 is an absolute beast and SR1 is a cut below the others every year. I think the overall depth in SR1 was better when the GLIAC was in it back in the 90's - seemed like the PSAC and the independents like New Haven were better back then.

Mines is outclassing Shepherd. The rams offense is having so much trouble moving the ball and the Mines pass rush is getting home so often. John Matocha looks as good as ever and if a few plays go differently, this game could be even further out of reach for Shepherd

If Mines wins, we already know they can hang with GV, can they hang with Ferris?

This is an embarrassment to D2 football to watch this happening in the national semifinals lol.

I think the Ferris-Mines match up next week is going to be a good one. Much better than the Ferris-Valdosta game last year. Ferris should be the favorite but Mines is much more balanced on offense than West Florida plus Mines has a defense that can hang with the Dogs.

So far in the last 2 semifinals Shepherd has 13 points for and 93 against … how is it allowed to have them in the semifinals and teams like GV and NWMS sit at home. Embarrassing

I don't particularly think so. When GV played against Mines earlier this year, Mines committed, approximately, a thousand pass interference penalties because they had nobody who could match up with one of the GV WR's. And Ferris has a better stable of WR's.

The one thing Mines will need to take advantage of is that Ferris' o-line isn't spectacular. It's solid, but not as good as it has been in the past. If Mines is able to pressure Mylik, then maybe they can stay close.
