Curiosity about the conferences title game records caused me to dig through the archives to compile the following two lists split up into current conferences and the older and now FCS teams.

Harding, Delta State, West Florida and UC-Pueblo are the only 4 teams that could join the multiple win list in 2024. Harding could join the exclusive VIP back to back club with a repeat title.

The Pee Sack (PSAC) is 0-3 in the title game.

IUP was in it in 1990 and 1993 (should have won). Bloomsburg was in it in 2000.

The teams with multiple wins have a lot of NC losses to each other, too.

Pretty sure Pitt is 2-3, not 2-4, btw.

I took the info. from the D2 Champions list and it only shows IUP losing once in 1993 to No. Ala. and Bloomsburg losing once to Delta State in 2000. It also shows Pitt. St. losing in 1990 to No. Dakota St., in 1992 to Jacksonville St., in 1995 to No. Ala. and in 2004 to Valdosta.

I checked other sources and the D2 champions list incorrectly listed Pitt. St. losing to No. Dakota St. in 1990 instead of IUP. I corrected this on the first post. Thanks for pointing it out.

I lived through both losses....and still have the commemorative sweatshirts from both games.
