  • EA College Football 25

Just curious for whenever people get to it, I know there are going to be quite a few "create a schools". How variable is this feature and how close can you get to your D2 program, uniforms, stadiums, etc.? I wonder with the numerous teams in FIFA (which I know has a much larger consumer base) will FCS and eventually D2s and D3s be a possibility in future releases. That would make one heck of a career mode feature, but of course I am biased.

How many people on here will be playing NCAA 25? I loved the games when I was in high school and college and am seriously considering getting into it again. However, my available time is considerably less than it was 10-20 years ago. And, the game won't just cost me $70, it will cost $570 as I would have to purchase a new gaming system to play it.

I won't be getting NCAA 25 , but will play it when I can at other people's houses. When the kids get older, I will probably buy a copy.

I'm in the same boat as you. Used to play that game religiously....bought the new version every year and played all the way up until the series ended with NCAA 2014 on my PS2. Haven't really touched a gaming system since.

My oldest kid has an older Xbox (which won't play this new game) and we do have a Switch....but in order to get back into this game, which I've heard great things about, I'd have to drop $500+ on a new system first.

          Choices....choices.....choices......

If you didn't currently have a game system, which one would you buy and why?

I think the last one I got was maybe 2001? Need to
ask my youngest if he’s interested. He plays Madden a ton so he might be into it.

For me, I would get a PlayStation 5. I played on both PS and XBox in college and usually preferred the PS. I really don't know now if there would be a significant difference between the 2.

The developers should be opening up today or tomorrow a Create-A-Team Website that you work on and then transfer it to the game like they did back in the early 2010's.

I know I had MSU pretty damn close back then, but we will see how close I can get when it opens up

Xbox is a bit cheaper and has better track record with the Online services, including the Game Pass where there are select games free to play.

What I think EA should do is offer DLC packages for re-skins with the team logos and conferences of lower divisions. I know there tends to be pretty dedicated communities to replicating this in game (especially for FCS), but I would seriously drop an extra $20 for a D2 DLC. I think there's enough of a market for it that it could be profitable.

I would love to play it but I don't own a current gen machine and am not really interested in playing it last gen. I briefly owned '14 on the PS3, I paid $5 for it at a pawn shop, but couldn't ignore the quick flip. Sold it as soon as I heard rumors about the new game.

Sony usually has slightly better graphics, at least they used too - but tbh it's pretty much the same, especially if one is buying only to play games like this.

Bit the bullet and purchased a PS5. Had a chance to play a couple games, and I've got some practicing to do. It seems great so far and I can't wait to get a Dynasty started. Anyone else playing the game yet?

I purchased a PS5 in May and picked up CFB25 last Friday. I was amazed at how small the line was and my local Walmart had plenty of copies to pick up. I'm 54 and grew up playing video games and have kept all of the systems and the games. I have already created UCO in team builder and placed them in the American Conference. It's was really fun creating the team and attempting to get them as close to the real thing. I used Tulsa Universities stadium as it felt the closest to Chad Richison Stadium. I would like to see all the schools in the MIAA created and placed in the same conference. I would definitely pick up a new system and CFB25!!!

Its been on my radar to also pull the trigger and get a PS5 and this game.
