Do you think the NFL will continue letting Jay Z decide who will perform in the NFL's Superbowl $hows beyond this coming year's game?

Waiting on when the Chiefs make the big game and they get Taylor Swift to do the halftime so I can ask if it's a conflict of interest.

I stopped watching Super Bowl halftime shows after Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers performance back in 2008. I'm a distance runner and the streets are practically empty when it's on, so I can get in a decent run and not have to worry about cars. And then it's back to watching the second half after that.

On a side note, it will be interesting to see if there's going to be any impact from Diddy's investigation and trial on future potential halftime performing artists.

If the Chiefs were playing, they wouldn't leave. They'd be there just as much to support Travis.

Outside of personal taste, why wouldn't they continue to let him be involved?

He's planned five super bowl halftime shows and three of those rank in the top #10 for all time viewership (#1, #2, and #6). Unless he asks for a substantial load of money, it seems like whatever he's doing is working as it relates to keeping people tuned in during halftime.

At most it stays on as background noise while I go do other things, but I really couldn't care less who plays as I don't pay attention. I watch the game for football.

Unless it's Katy Perry. That I can get down with.
