Are these student athletes ever happy? Being backup kicker for a national champion couldn't have been that bad could it?

Now that's funny. Had not heard that. Man you'd think having the possibility of playing for OSU that you'd hang out there for another year. Now it's probably back down to a mid-major or something which probably doesn't get much more for you than staying at UF and trying to become an all-American or something. Crazy times we're in.

I am not sure what coaching staff is going to keep players from transferring to D1, but there are a lot of crap D1 FCS football schools too.

I heard Ohio Dominican had at least 20. Quite a few off the defense picked up D1 offers. Cant blame them for bailing out. The coaching staff is complete garbage.

Mack will be at his 3rd school in 4 years. Use to be a time you went to a school to get a good education, not hop around playing sports for 1- 2 years at each one. Sad what is becoming of the "student athlete".

Best I can do for you is a lot of Walsh guys are in the portal.
They are losing Molk, Hollobaugh (holds a good bunch of FCS and G5 offers, I figure he’s probably going to get a high level FCS or Mid-tier P4) and Harris (already committed to Western Illinois) just to name a few.

Unfortunately at the D2 level its hard to track unless its a well known player getting a bigger D1 offer. I'm sure there are 100's already in the portal, but probably wont find out much till spring ball.
