In its official statement about UVA-Wise's departure, the MEC thanked UVA-Wise for their contributions to the conference. Shepherd gets no such thank you in theirs.

I'm paying attention - not necessarily because of Shepherd, but because of the possible dominos that now may fall.

He writes for the state newspaper the Charleston Gazette-Mail. Not official....but he is usually money.

Sources tell @GazMailSports that Shepherd will leave the @TheMountainEast for the PSAC in the 2019-20 season. Story to come later this afternoon.
