I'm looking forward to another 2-3 win season and going into a packed full stadium of 250 faithful fans.

We've reached the "If a tree falls in the forest" phase in WLU Football. No one cares what they do (or don't do), they don't post the typical stuff (I assume they signed players on signing day, but nothing posted and no articles written...I also assume they will have spring practice, but again, nothing). Seems the HC, AD and new President would rather people just forget that WLU has a football program...That way they don't have to answer any uncomfortable questions about why the team is so bad or what they are doing to try and improve. Juwst collect their pay checks, go on vacation after the season ends and focus on basketball.

Feels like another 2-9 season coming.

Clearly no change in coaching for 2025. Only thing left for the staff is to return from their vacations, unlock the doors to the football offices the day before spring practice starts and see who returns from last season. After spring practice, back on vacation until the day before fall practice begins!

You can't get his performance evaluations but I imagine anyone could do a public records request on his contract or any other written agreements. When Gary West was the ghost president and AD, did he give Roger a sweetheart contract?

Like there honestly needs to be an investigation into what’s keeping him around at this point. This isn’t an athletics department who just needs warm
bodies for enrollment

All of my son's friends in the portal are going to D1 schools, so it's not the talent here, must be the coaching.

The only thing more consistent than 1, 2 and 3 win seasons are boat loads of players transferring to D1/becoming stars elsewhere.

Check that, probably the most consistent thing about WLU football is the refusal by multiple school Presidents and Athletic Directors to hold ANYONE accountable for the decade+ long string of complete football failure.

The AD and President should come out publicly and state their justification of keeping Roger. Alumni and fans have the right to know their reasoning. Any other program coach would have been fired several years ago.

There are so many in the portal that the coaches have taken down all of the practice film for the entire season so that they can't get any screen grabs.

The players are voting with there feet. One can only hope that the AD and school administrators will see this and make the appropriate decision. But they won't and Roger will be back next year
