It would seem to make too much sense to have the SR1 conferences with 8 or 9 teams to set up some alliances to fill out their schedules. The PSAC and NE10 have matched up pretty well for the opening week. The GLIAC, GMAC and NE10 should pick a week, mid season to start scheduling something. Once UNH bolts for the FCS, (Dartmouth game looks the first move in that direction), it will be tough to even schedule 9 games without some outside help.

Nice pick up by New Haven to play Dartmouth. They are posting a lot of transfers on Twitter for the roster so they seem like they can compete with an FCS team.

New Haven should have 11 games. They have 8 league games, one OOC opening weekend, 1 NE-10 opponent as OOC and then 9/19 must be their bye week and they filled it with Dartmouth.

Assumption is doing the same thing as Grand Valley is their NE-10 bye week and they filled it with a game.

It is tougher in October and November to fill those bye weeks as the rest of those teams are in the middle of their own conference schedule.

So does that mean New Haven is playing an 11 game schedule?

I wouldn't expect too many NE-10 schedules posted until late in the spring. NE-10 schools have historically been notorious for being among the last D2 schools to post their schedules.

Good for them - The Grand Valley schedule is out and lists the Assumption game. Great to see Assumption make the effort to enhance their schedule. Go win a non-conf game [or 2] and make a better case for the playoffs.
