New Haven lost another player to the portal. This time, it's the 1st Team All-American, 1st Team All-Super Region 1, 1st Team All-New England, 1st Team All-Conference, NE-10 POTW 2x, Nat. POTW, Gold Helmet Winner and Harlon Hill (D2 POY) Nominee for the year 2024 in Kha'lil Eason. Someone is gonna grab him quick.

The skeptic in me asks how he fell to a D2 school, but the optimist in me hopes he has the stuff to start.

Yeah sometimes things didn't workout at those big time schools, but maybe, just maybe and hopefully, he will do better at New Haven. We still have another big time player on the roster from UCLA in Parker McQuarrie.

I’ll admit to not knowing all that much about it, but it sounds like they have a lot of guys who don’t want to be on a team that’s not qualifying for anything for at least 4 years. It’s possible the coaching staff told the team that they might want to consider leaving when they learned of the D1 move.

The New Haven website also doesn’t show the current player roster or coaching staff anymore.

Unfortunately, this is just the beginning and it is getting worse each day for our school. So many players including transfers into New Haven this year are transferring out since the D1 announced.
