Its happened before. Trevor Harris comes to mind immediately and the kid from Port Allegany who went to Edinboro for a year then quit.

I don't believe that Milford qualifies as a college so that may be why he's a true freshman. He could possibly have not completed his HS diploma.

Same thing as Shady McCoy when he went there. He was considered a true freshman when he got to Pitt.
