Yes Gannon played a perfect game and was gifted TWO personal foul calls on that put them in position for the go ahead score. But other than that Gannon played a solid game. Unlike against IUP their mental toughness broke down and got a million penalties

Oh yeah, and after that is when Cal had back-to-back three-and-outs. And then their defense couldn't get off the field. All at Adamson.

Common opponent comparison has validity. Certainly not predictive, but since both teams have Ws over CU,GU, IUP and BORO, the one obvious standout is SHIP. We'll know by 3:30 on Sat. Unless ????????????shows up.

Let's remember they still have to win at Cal and beat a Jekyll and Hyde LIT AF team.

Pending Jones is still healthy by then, GU has historically given SRU fits.

Win or lose this week, SRU is likely to leave Adamson with some bruises.

With those injuries Rock favored for sure. 2 offensive guards out is huge. Cals offense was there strength. Was never impressed with Cals Defense. IUP went threw them for most of the nite and if wasn't for the Bozos would of scored 40-50.....just sayin

Wait I thought the problem was Cal's defense couldn't get off the field in the third and fourth quarter when they allowed three consecutive 10+ play drives which lasted over 16 minutes. Now you're saying the offense was terrible too?

I agree for the national playoffs every game matters; but I was just referring to the PSAC West; just beat Cal.

SRU played Ship in terrible weather.

Not to be argumentative, but weather played a minimal role that day. It rained pretty hard in the hour or so before the game, but it was only light rain on and off in the first half; rain was more or less done by the third quarter.

What did play a role were injuries and our coaching. Lutz continues to forego field goal attempts when we get stopped in plus territory. We left six potential points off the board Saturday to go for it on fourth down. It didn't bite us against Clarion, but it might against Cal or Gannon.
