I'll be cheering for Cal, but right now ROCK is trending up and CAL looks to be trending down. But, the last two games for CAL were against a LAF squad with lots of penalties and the HURST game that cover 2 days, so these are odd games for sure. But going 3 quarters without scoring a touchdown against a 2-5 team does not bode well.

Cal has a punchers chance, SRU's pass defense is suspect, I think, and with Cal's air raid style offense, you never know. A few broken assignments or missed tackles, and its anybodies game. Rock should run Hills and Rivers, like Gannon ran Jones - The Gannon qb made some nice yardage against Cal, imagine with Rivers as a Running threat. But we'll see what they do.

Common opponent comparison has validity. Certainly not predictive, but since both teams have Ws over CU,GU, IUP and BORO, the one obvious standout is SHIP. We'll know by 3:30 on Sat. Unless ????????????shows up.

Yes Gannon played a perfect game and was gifted TWO personal foul calls on that put them in position for the go ahead score. But other than that Gannon played a solid game. Unlike against IUP their mental toughness broke down and got a million penalties

Before we all anoint SRU West champions ...

Let's remember they still have to win at Cal and beat a Jekyll and Hyde LIT AF team.

Pending Jones is still healthy by then, GU has historically given SRU fits.

Win or lose this week, SRU is likely to leave Adamson with some bruises.

Long way to go.
