Either way. I'm not an IUP hater. It was just an observation. Thinking it sets up for an interesting 2019....and offseason of plugging holes.

I remember only one rock drive didn't end in IUP territory. And stats....223 rushing yds to 69.

OK. Not SRU. IUP_*****boy. I'm not really overly biased. I don't play on or coach on any of these teams. But Fletcher ran for 186 on IUP. If boro would've ran more and stopped wasting downs on passes we might be making excuses for IUP losing that game too.
I went back and looked. Millersville, Lock haven, seton hill...etc. You were right they did handle some teams.

Re: 2018 All-PSAC West
One doesn't have to know playbooks and schemes to realize what they watched this year.
Frankly, I don't really care about schemes. I care about the fact IUP was given the money by fans and boosters to field what should have been a highly competitive team ... one that isn't watching the playoffs on a crappy live feed. Almost is a term teams use whom miss the playoffs.
IUP had an offense in the second half that was more predictable than Homer's inevitable comment on this post.
The ability to run dwindled with each week. Lenny had people in his face constantly.
The team routinely didn't show up until halftime and fought with each other on the sidelines weekly. It somehow lost numerous players to academics.
It's actually impressive they held it together enough to finish 8-3.
I don't want to say that the effort in the Ship game was as uninspired as I've seen in 30-some years watching IUP football teams but it is certainly in the conversation.
The 'team' that won at Ashland in August was long gone by October. Poof. Gone. I don't know what happened to it or where it went -- but it vanished.
Tort has a big job in front of him this off-season. Some of the problems will work themselves out. Addition by subtraction. They can be very strong next year with a few key additions -- and more time in the library. This is a re-tool, re-group and re-load off-season. Those remaining need to make sure they are on the field in late August.
