Word has it that when PASSHE was going to all universities, they considered the naming convention of State University at the Campus of ______, but Kutztown was against it. :tongue:

Surprising that one vote would have prevented that. And such a name may have implied being under the PSU umbrella

IUP was supposed to be The Western Pennsylvania State University when it was elevated to university status in 1965, but the Centre County Community Colllege was against it.
