Re: Wes Hills invited to play in Senior Bowl
Whatever happened to the college all-star games like East-West Shrine Game, the Hula Bowl, and the Japan Bowl? Are they still around?
The Senior Bowl is certainly the biggest showcase these days. I always watch that one and the week of practice leading up to it. Many top round players will be there. You can learn a lot if you are a draftnik.

Injury derails Hills in Senior Bowl
2 carries 22 yards
Slippery Rock running back Wes Hills parlayed his awesome NFLPA Collegiate Bowl performance (78 yards rushing, TD, MVP honors) into a call-up to the Senior Bowl but left in the first quarter after he suffered a lower body injury. He still helped himself throughout the week of practices but could have had a big in-game moment to remind scouts he's a legitimate prospect. (Excerpt form Bleacher Report article)

Re: Wes Hills invited to play in Senior Bowl
Not too many D2 guys get invited to combine. With his injury he would probably have to decline. ROCK's PRO day will probably in late March.
My guess is the it is a high ankle sprain, they showed the replay and it was cringe-worthy.
