So if Mercyhurst has 3 home games and only reports their total att at 1853 and 1 game is given as zero.
Then their ave is 618. I contend what they record on their stats, is their att. Therefore total given is 1853 divided by 3 home game = 618
That's there official ave att and not 927. You cannot assume the zero att game did not exist. By the same token realisticly it wasn't zero.
The onus is on MH for their lack of reporting. Their STATS PAGE results gives Zero att. that is what they report. They also reported iniyially an att of 150 for the SR U game last Saturday but went back in and changed it ti 1411.

I understand what you're saying but I'm willing to fudge statistical standards to have it be the average of reported attendances. I don't count 0 as an official attendance.

I know what you are saying. It behooves the school to give the true stats. I know at Gannon they do a clicker count for FB & BK.
That may be bec those are money sports. For other sports its usually a student making a WAG (wild azz guess),
so they usually don't have a clue.
