East Stroudsburg put together a nice drive that started at their own 12 yard line to run the remaining 5:35 off the clock (with Bloomsburg having all three timeouts at the beginning of the drive) and hold on for a 21-16 win at home. This came after the Huskies scored a touchdown to cut into the Warriors' lead, but BU failed on the 2 point conversion.

ESU improves to 7-1 with the win and remains in playoff contention. Meanwhile Bloomsburg, which has been in most of their games but has come up short in just about all of those contests, falls to 1-7.

Only the Eagles can do the Tush Push..aka the Brotherly Shove.

One of these days people will understand that 1) having a good run blocking offensive line that usually gets leverage on short yardage and 2) a quarterback with strong legs who keeps them moving on run plays make all the difference in the world in having the slightly modified QB sneak work. When you line up in the shotgun all the time and don't work on short yardage runs, the "Tush Push/Brotherly Shove" just doesn't work nearly as well.

However, I disagree that Bloom has been in most of their games. The scores may have been close, but I have zero confidence in our offense. A lot of Bloom's games have felt over before they began

Possession time has been a killer this year; Bloom is the worst in time of possession and red zone offensive statistical categories in the conference. Today it hurt when they settled for fg inside the 10.
