Off topic but for you pro wrestling fans is this Raja Jackson assault true or part of the show?

If it's true, he should be behind bars.

He's an MMA fighter who was doing an appearance in some lower level pro wrestling league. He appeared to go just about insane and about killed a guy in the ring.

Some reputable services have picked up the story (ESPN, etc.) which leads me to believe it was real and this guy just went off the hinges.

Yeah, that was a real assault. Not even the most experienced pro wrestler could make it look that real. And from what I’ve seen it was premeditated. Apparently there was a misunderstanding backstage when they were setting up something that was part of the show. There’s video of the guy he attacked apologizing and them shaking hand and seemingly squashing it. Last I saw it looks like the guy is recovering fairly well which is certainly fortunate for Raja Jackson, who absolutely should still do jail time.

Speaking of paying more money to watch football, just in time for the season to start with possibly the biggest opening day game ever, Fox and YoutubeTV are apparently at an impasse over renewal of their agreement to air the channels on that service. These disputes/negotiations aren’t uncommon and always get resolved the last minute after both sides scare people into thinking they will lose their channels and inevitably the notification of a price increase comes shortly thereafter. So, uh, yay football season!

My boomer parents will never cut cable. They complain left and right about the cost and that they only watch a handful of channels (most of them could be had over antenna). I don't complain either because I have their login and can add those streaming channels to my TV, especially when the playoffs are put on some fringe cable sports channel like CBS College Sports 2.

The current TV situation is idiotic, whether you are on cable or not.
